Graduate Scholarships (Spring 2026)

The Cohen Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies is currently accepting applications for two (2) graduate scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year. Students in the Masters in Holocaust and Genocide Studies program or the Masters in History and Archives program at 91Ó°ÊÓ are eligible to apply. These scholarships are meant to recognize students with exceptional promise as emerging scholars in these fields whose interests intersect with the mission of the Cohen Institute. Our hope is that the financial aid provided through the scholarship will decrease the financial burden of tuition, allowing students to devote more time to their academic development through activities such as: attending Cohen Institute events, conducting independent research in the field of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, or other related pursuits.

Scholarship Details

  • This scholarship will be issued directly to the Office of Financial Aid to offset some or all of the cost of the student’s tuition. Please note that the scholarship covers tuition costs only and not any other fees.
  • Student recipients of this scholarship can receive funding to cover the cost of up to eight (8) graduate course credits at 91Ó°ÊÓ per semester. No refunds will be issued for leftover funds.
  • Scholarships are awarded for a full academic year, beginning in the fall semester and ending in the spring semester. Scholarships cannot be applied towards summer courses.

  • Additional details pertaining to this scholarship will be outlined in the formal letter of agreement sent to recipients before their award is confirmed.
