Eric McCurdy received his doctorate in counseling psychology from The University of Akron, and a bachelor鈥檚 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He comes to Keene State from Smith College, where he taught courses in Counseling and Disinformation. At 91影视 he teaches courses in Counseling Skills, Psychopathology, Theories and Practices in Clinical Psychology, and advanced Clinical Seminars.

Dr. McCurdy鈥檚 research focuses broadly on gender, with specific focuses in traditional masculine norms and women鈥檚 experiences in STEM careers. He鈥檚 excited to work with 91影视 students in the Gender Research Lab, which is currently focused on examining predictors of a man鈥檚 likelihood of engaging in mansplaining behaviors. Outside of his work, Dr. McCurdy likes cats, cars, and being outside in nature.
