Dear Evan Hansen , a Tony Award winning musical, centers around Evan, a lonely, anxious high school student who entangles himself in an unwieldy lie in an effort to connect with his peers. The lie spirals, causing Evan to become the face of a viral mental health movement, forcing him to choose between popularity and the truth.
